While on my sudden burst of creativity...I realized that I wanted to show to the world my progress, aka my drawings getting better. For a while now, I've been drawing as sort of a hobby...and yet still getting pretty good. However, there's been a few things lacking, so I get very few attempts that result in great work. Recently, this site at fernblossom.com, and my family, has revived my need to draw, in hopes that someday I could actually do it for a comic(aka constant drawing of the same characters). This requires me to brush up a bit more, which has been a success in the past couple of days. A recent read up on using stick figures(a duh for seasoned artists but not for somebody like me) as a base really helped me develope poportion and shape...so that it seems more realistic, and I know how to pose things.
Also, I've always had a big problem with hair...so today, I looked up different tutorials, landing on on that uses lines with arrows to show how hair will fall, which has really helped on getting a perspective on how hair will fall on the head(just drawing lines somehow never helped).
Anyways, I'll probably post the addresses to the tutorials if anybody wants them. If you have anything that you think could help(I'm still looking for help with head and eyes as well as detailed info on stick figures) please leave some comments,
Sincerely Yours,
JamFish
